10:30 am - 8:00 pm – Registration Table in Hotel Lobby; pick up materials and chat.
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm – Guided history walk led by Dr. William Elliott; wear comfortable shoes; bring camera; see inside and out of multiple key sites; start and end at hotel lobby; no RSVP needed.
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm – Icebreaker Reception at hotel; Tillich Room; cash bar.
Friday, May 12, 2023
7:00 am - 8:00 am – Breakfast at hotel; Tillich Room.
7:50 am - 8:00 pm – Welcoming Remarks
8:00 am - 8:15 am – Gather in hotel lobby; carpool to CountryMark Refinery at Mt. Vernon, Indiana.
9:00 am - 10:20 pm – Presentation by Clint Broach: "Introduction to the Illinois Basin and CountryMark Energy Resources" and examination of core w/Dr. Elliott
10:30 am – Board bus at the CountryMark Refinery for ½ day field trip; Box lunch on bus
2:00 pm - 4:30 pm – Return to refinery and refinery tour; Carpool may go to hotel to change, or directly to barbecue.
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm – Casual barbecue dinner at CountryMark Refinery
8:30 pm – Participants return to hotel

Breakfast on your own
7:45 am-8:00 am – Gather In hotel lobby; carpool to CountryMark refinery.
8:00 am - 8:30 am – Travel In carpools; see map in registration packets.
8:30 am – Breakfast and Symposium presentations in refinery meeting room.
12:00 pm – Lunch buffet in the refinery meeting room.
4:30 pm – Symposium presentations conclude; final remarks by host.
4:45 pm – Carpools exit refinery. Symposium officially ends.
